DCN Global is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing digital communication, media literacy, and innovation for social impact. Operating as a global network with presence across multiple regions, it brings together academics, professionals, and organizations to address challenges such as disinformation, digital transformation, and democratic resilience. Through its core pillars—training, research, and innovation—DCN Global delivers certified educational programs, produces knowledge resources, and implements collaborative initiatives that empower citizens and strengthen digital ecosystems. Its activities focus on equipping young people, journalists, and communities with critical skills in digital storytelling, ethical media, and technology-driven solutions, fostering informed participation in today’s rapidly evolving information environment.

Projects & Activities

GenEU – European Youth Media Initiative

A cross-border journalism project that engages young Europeans (16–26) through digital storytelling, multimedia content, and discussions on key societal issues like climate change and civic participation.

GenZette Journalism Summer School

An international training program bringing together young creators from Greece and Romania to develop skills in journalism, storytelling, and ethical reporting through workshops and mentorship.

EDGE – Digital Education & Entrepreneurship for Youth

An Erasmus+ initiative focused on empowering young people in rural and remote areas with digital skills and opportunities in sustainable entrepreneurship within the green and social economy.

Media Literacy & Disinformation Training Programs

A series of projects and workshops aimed at combating disinformation, hate speech, and improving journalists’ safety and media literacy across different communities, including youth and vulnerable groups.
