
AEQUALITAS is a Portuguese NGO founded in 2020 that promotes equality, inclusion, and active citizenship through non-formal education and innovative community-based methodologies. The organisation works mainly with young people and vulnerable groups, including immigrants, Roma communities, LGBTQIA+ youth, women, and residents of disadvantaged neighbourhoods, supporting their access to social and human rights and strengthening intercultural dialogue and participation.
ONDA: Waves of Inclusion and Youth Participation – A youth participation project that empowers marginalised young people in Loures, Lourinhã, and Belém through community radio, digital literacy, and civic engagement. It creates youth-led radio spaces where young people can discuss social issues and connect with local decision-makers.
Movimenta os teus direitos / Exercise your rights – A solidarity and rights-based initiative focused on young people in disadvantaged neighbourhoods, especially in Lourinhã, combining social rights education, community action, and youth participation to improve local living conditions and inclusion.
Hidden Lisbon / Lisboa Escondida – A project designed to empower young immigrant and second-generation women in Loures through tailored capacity-building, social rights education, and digital storytelling, developed in close cooperation with the Municipality of Loures.
SINERGIAS: Empowering Youth Workers – An Erasmus+ small-scale partnership focused on strengthening the competences of youth workers in grassroots organisations, with a special emphasis on inclusion, digital youth work, green skills, and support for young people with fewer opportunities.
