Bilal is a journalist, political analyst, and consultant, currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief of EYP. With a career rooted in editorial leadership and political journalism, he brings a critical and global perspective to media and public discourse. He is the former chief coordinator of the Kurdish edition of Le Monde Diplomatique, where he led editorial strategy and championed underrepresented narratives, particularly from the Kurdish region.
Born and raised in the Kurdish region of Turkey, Bilal holds a master’s degree in Contemporary Western Societies and Geopolitics from Panthéon-Sorbonne University. Now based in France, he combines academic depth with frontline experience in reporting, policy analysis, and cultural programming. He has curated numerous political, cultural, and artistic exhibitions and has been a contributor to initiatives that intersect media, civil society and politics.
Bilal previously served as a member of the Parisian Youth Council, representing the 10th district of Paris, where he focused on youth inclusion and urban policy. His work with NGOs, political entities, and activist groups further reinforces his commitment to amplifying marginalized voices and shaping inclusive policy dialogues.
