Orange Magazine
Orange is European Youth Press’ English-language event-based online magazine that brings together an international team of young journalists from Europe and beyond. It gives young journalists the opportunity to explore media and current affairs by covering important topics and events around the continent.
Orange Magazine was created by the European Youth Press to provide journalistic education and help young media makers to develop their professional skills within an empowering and inspiring environment. The production of an Orange Magazine edition enables young journalists to meet professional journalists they can learn from and understand better the challenges that lie ahead for the media in covering issues in a globalized world.
Orange Magazine introduces a wide range of topics such as global media policy, migration, human rights, social justice and economic and environmental issues among others. It can appear in a printed form, distributed among the participants of the event that is covered, and/or online at orange.youthpress.org.
For its Event Partners, Orange Magazine carefully selects a Media Team of young skilled reporters from the European Youth Press network. Young reporters provide journalistic multimedia coverage of the event and produce content that is straightforward and cuts to the heart of the pressing issues of the day. The Media Team works on a voluntary basis. Event Partners bear the organizational costs of inviting Orange Magazine reporters.
This collaboration gives the Event Partners of the Orange Magazine an access to a vibrant network of young media makers and multinational multimedia coverage across Europe. Companies and institutions such as Council of Europe, European Parliament, Deutsche Welle, CoE – EU Youth Partnership, African Diaspora Youth Network in Europe, M100 and many others already chosen Orange Magazine as their media partner.
