Call for the Hostwriter Story Prize

Hostwriter’s annual award for outstanding collaborative journalism is open for entry! Professional and amateur journalists can compete in this contest. Six prizes of EUR1,000 will be awarded.

 

Hostwriter, a platform that lets vetted journalists contact each other for collaboration opportunities, will award cash prizes for works of collaborative journalism. The Hostwriter Story Prize highlights exemplary works of journalistic collaboration in Europe and beyond.

 

The contest is open to teams of two or more journalists who have worked or will work on a story together and have used or will use Hostwriter in some way during the research.

 

Works may be published in any language, but works not in English must include a translation. The stories must have been written, researched and published by November 30th, 2022.

 

Previous winners of the Hostwriter Prize are not eligible to apply as well as stories published by Unbias the News are excluded from the prize.
