Call for German speaker media makers

The Saxonian Foundation for Media Education (SSM, in German) will organise a 10-day seminar for journalists from Central and Eastern Europe. The seminar dates are 27 September to 7 October. The activity will be in Leipzig, Germany.

 

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
Journalists ages 40 and younger who are proficient in the German language can apply to participate in this free seminar. This year the topic of the activity will challenge the participants: they will discuss the role of media in dealing with risks, crises and information.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Candidates must work in media and have experience with the internet and social networking. Selected participants will arrive in Leipzig and take study tours and several trips. The organising side (SSM) will cover travel expenses, meals and lodging.
