Call for application for CEPS Youth Policy Dialogues

Deadline: 11 December 2022 (23:59 CET)
Applications are open for our next cohort of Young Thinkers! CEPS people are looking for a group of around 30 young people from various academic fields who will take part in the CEPS Youth Policy Dialogues.
CEPS Youth Policy Dialogues (YPDs) will convene approximately 30 Young Thinkers each year to discuss pressing policy issues and elevate the voices of young professionals working across various policy areas in international affairs.
The upcoming YPD will run from January to June 2023 and will be organised around four policy areas:
- Democracy and Institutions
- Energy and Climate
- Security and Defence
- Trade and Technology
Each YPD will consist of a small group of 5-7 Young Thinkers, who will meet on a regular basis to discuss international developments and concrete policy ideas. Their final deliverable will be to draft one policy paper per YPD, which will be published on the CEPS Young Thinkers website and promoted through various channels. The CEPS team will organise meetings between the Young Thinkers and senior experts working on specific policy areas, as well as training sessions relevant to their activities, such as critical thinking and policy brief writing sessions or thematic discussions relevant to the topics covered.
These policy papers will be presented during an in-person public event organised by CEPS in Brussels in June 2023. All travel and accommodation expenses for YPD participants will be covered by the project. Selected participants might also be offered the opportunity to travel to Brussels (all expenses covered) on 28 February and 1 March 2023 to present preliminary findings of their YPD cluster at CEPS’ flagship event Ideas Lab.
