🌎❗European Youth Press is searching for an External Communications Manager (Remote, 12 hours/week)
European Youth Press (EYP) is a network of youth media organisations in Europe. It works to build a society where empowered young media makers are actively participating and contributing to the public sphere by creating fair, independent and responsible media. With 30 Member Organisations and several Committees, the EYP reaches more than 60,000 young journalists across Europe, forming a solid volunteer and professional infrastructure.

🌟Starting point: April 2024Approximately 12 hours/week
💵 Salary depending on experience (12 €/hour is the German minimum wage)
💡Tasks:
Social media reporting from major EYP events (e.g. annual General Assembly)
Develop engaging content for weekly posts and stories (this year with the focus on the topic of Media inclusion)
Create and implement social media strategies for European Youth Press’ Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn platforms
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries
Write and design a monthly newsletter for EYP
Curate and gather news and relevant information to include in the newsletter
Update the European Youth Press website
Management of the Email accounts of EYP
Regular feedback with the Executive Board and cooperation with the Orange Magazine team
🤝 Requirements:
Experience with different social media channelsExperience or interest in designing and implementing social media content
Fluent in English, German is a plus
SEO, WordPress, and MailChimp experience are a plus
