The First United Nations - Alliance of Civilizations Summer School will bring together 100 young people (from 18 to 30 years old) from various cultural and religious backgrounds for one week in Portugal in order to gain additional knowledge and skills regarding cross-cultural communication.
Through their interactions, participants will reinforce their understanding that diversity is an asset for cross-fertilization and develop new perspectives from which mutual trust, better understanding and an innovative mindset can emerge.
