The Swedish Youth Press "Ung Media Sverige" is a strong and appreciated organization as school newspapers, youth magazines and fanzines have a long tradition in Sweden. Ung Media connects young media makers in different projects, giving them support, education and tools to progress in their media production. Ung Media Sverige is a member of Youthmedia.eu, giving young media makers in Sweden access to one of the widest collections of youth media productions in the world.
Ung Media was founded in 1999 and and thousands of young media makers have benefited from the work of the organization ever since. Ung Media enjoy government aid for the organizations work and many of the members are involved in the political all day life in Sweden. The organizations central office is located in Stockholm with a filial located in Gothenburg.
