The background
In 1980, several groups of young people with similar interests impelled the creation of the Asociación de Prensa Juvenil to be the way to express their thoughts and restlessness about mass media. With this objectives, at the end of 1980 and after several meetings, there was an assembly where the statutes were approved and signed and the directors were chosen. It was the born of tha A.P.J. In 1981, the APJ was recognized officially and its walking began.
Presentation
The A.P.J. collaborates with the institutional policy with a fundamental objective: to increase the number of readers, having special interest in the infantile/youthful sphere. The association tries to cause the approach between the teaching staff and journalists and to make aware all the implied sectors in the relationship 'Press-School' conscious of the importance of the free and objective press, specially when it is used with pedagogic objectives during the learning stage.
