Mladiinfo Montenegro
Mladiinfo Montenegro is a non governmental, voluntary, independent, non political and non profit organization. It was established in 30th March 2011.
Association's main objective is improving the situation of young people, especially journalists, information, promoting their active participation in society, and raising awareness about issues and problems concerning youth.
Mladiinfo Montenegro also works on:
- Collecting and sharing informations to students about opportunities to study and practice abroad,
- Creating space for activities for students and graduates,
- Promotion of volunteerism and its importance both for volunteers and for the society,
- Promotion of active citizenship among young people,
- Promotion of other cultures and countries,
- Increasing multicultural sensitivity,
- Creating a space for discussion of major issues, especially on global issues and the EU,
- Encouraging the exchange of ideas and experiences, mutual understanding and equal rights and opportunities among young people.
- Improving the position of journalists in society and providing them different trainings and other possibilities for improvement of their work.
- Informing about the possibilities of formal and informal education, mostly through websites and social networks,
- Bringing together local and foreign students, volunteers and youth in general,
- Cooperation with domestic and international students (from primary and secondary school), students (from different faculties and universities) and youth organizations,
- Cooperation with domestic and foreign universities and secondary schools, as well as with other institutions dealing with youth,
- Cooperation with foreign embassies in Montenegro
- Participation in EU programs, youth programs as well as foreign and domestic organizations,
- Organizing meetings, discussions, campaigns, forums, round tables and presentations on topics related to youth, especially in the field of education and volunteering,
- Providing trainings, seminars, conferences and exhibitions,
- Publishing books, newspapers and other publications.
