Youth Press of Austria
www.jugendpresse.org
The Youth Press of Austria (Jugendpresse Osterreich) was founded in April 2004 in Vienna. As a youth-owned, independent non-profit organisation is efforts are based on volunteer work and the dedication of young people to actively improve the Austrian media landscape.
Our members are between 14 and 27 years old, they are mostly students and young professionals or simply people that are interested in media and see the related work as a valuable experience for their future.
Through means of projects, workshops, camps and congresses, the Youth Press communicates media competence, networking, education and the exchange of experience. Therefore the overall aims of the Austrian Youth Press are quality assurance and sustainability in the field of youth media.
